On the auspicious occasion of Krishna saptami which coincided with a Sunday, the volunteers gathered at the designated meeting point in front of the temple to offer their humble seva at the divine feet of Baba and Maa. The crowd was significantly larger than usual, with devotees and families continuously gathering in long queues to receive the blessings of Baba and Maa in the form of prasad.

We began by putting up the banner and standee and preparing the altar. With the lighting of diyas and incense sticks, aarti we offered bhog to Baba and Maa, seeking their blessings before commencing the Annadanam Seva. As we prepared and made the offerings, our minds remained immersed in the remembrance of the divine, silently chanting the Pranam Mantras of Bhairav Baba and Maa Tara.

Soon, we began serving khichdi, aloo dum and sweets to everyone present. The gathering comprised people from all walks of life and across generations — little children, young devotees, parents and grandparents, all waiting patiently to receive the prasad. The happiness on their faces were truly heartwarming.

By the divine grace and blessings of Baba and Maa, the entire seva proceeded smoothly and seamlessly despite the exceptionally large crowd. Witnessing the joy and contentment on the faces of everyone receiving the prasad filled our hearts with immense gratitude and happiness. It was a beautiful reminder that Annadanam is not merely about offering food; it is a humble act of service, compassion and devotion — an opportunity to serve the divine in every being.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Baba and Maa for blessing us with this opportunity to serve. May Baba and Maa continue to guide us, strengthen our devotion and bless us.
